Fundador da TAP, foi candidato \u00e0 Presid\u00eancia da Rep\u00fablica em 1958, tendo sido assassinado pela pol\u00edcia pol\u00edtica (PIDE) em 1965. A cerim\u00f3nia come\u00e7a \u00e0s 10h30, com a deposi\u00e7\u00e3o de coroa flores no monumento 25 Anos de Abril, em frente aos Pa\u00e7os do Concelho de Alcoba\u00e7a.
