No total, foram libertados 450 indiv\u00edduos desta esp\u00e9cie de peixe que s\u00f3 existe em dois rios do concelho de Torres Vedras (Alcabrichel e Sizandro) e numa ribeira do concelho de Mafra (Safarujo).<\/p>\n<p>Com o objetivo de consciencializar a comunidade para a import\u00e2ncia da preserva\u00e7\u00e3o da esp\u00e9cie e do seu habitat, participaram nestas liberta\u00e7\u00f5es alunos e professores da Escola B\u00e1sica de Ramalhal, bem como alunos da Escola Profissional Agr\u00edcola Fernando Barros Leal. A vereadora do Ambiente e Sustentabilidade da C\u00e2mara Municipal de Torres Vedras, Dulcineia Ramos, tamb\u00e9m esteve presente numa das sess\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>Esta a\u00e7\u00e3o de repovoamento, que visa contribuir para aumentar o efetivo da popula\u00e7\u00e3o local, foi promovida pelo Aqu\u00e1rio Vasco da Gama em conjunto com a C\u00e2mara Municipal de Torres Vedras.
